ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal
ThufuLA: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Guru Raudhatul Athfal provides a mechanism for readers, researchers, educators, and members of the academic community to submit comments, critiques, questions, and responses about articles published in the journal. This mechanism aims to encourage constructive academic dialogue, broaden perspectives in early childhood education research, and maintain the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the research.
1. Submission of Post-Publication Discussions
Readers and researchers may submit scholarly comments or responses to articles published in ThufuLA through the journal’s official editorial contact at jurnalthufula@iainkudus.ac.id.
Submissions should identify the article being discussed by giving its title, author(s), year of publication, volume, issue, and DOI or article URL. They should clearly explain the purpose of the discussion and specify which arguments, findings, interpretations, or other aspects of the original article are being addressed.
Contributions may address theoretical frameworks, research methods, research instruments, learning models and media, early childhood learning practices, data analysis, findings, conclusions, or other substantive scholarly issues. All submissions must present clear arguments supported by relevant academic literature, verifiable evidence, and appropriate references.
2. Editorial Evaluation
All submissions are evaluated by the Editorial Team for their relevance, academic quality, clarity of argument, validity of supporting evidence, and contribution to scholarly discussion.
The editor may request revisions, additional information, or supporting documentation when necessary. Depending on the nature of the submission, the editor may also seek an assessment from independent reviewers or subject-matter experts in early childhood education.
Submissions that contain personal attacks, discriminatory language, unsupported allegations, or arguments unrelated to the scholarly substance of the article will not be accepted for publication.
Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, relevance, and publication ethics, regardless of whether the submission supports or challenges the conclusions of the original article.
3. Opportunity for Author Response
When a submission raises substantive questions or criticisms about a published article, the original author(s) may be invited to provide a response or clarification.
The original author(s) will normally be given up to 10 days to submit a response, unless the editor sets another reasonable period. The response should address the issues raised and be supported by appropriate scholarly arguments and evidence.
If the original author(s) decline to respond, or do not respond within the specified period, the editor may proceed with the evaluation of the submitted discussion.
4. Publication of Discussions and Responses
After editorial evaluation, accepted submissions may be published as a Letter to the Editor, a scholarly commentary, or another appropriate form of academic discussion.
Published discussions and responses will include appropriate references to the original article. Where technically possible, the journal will link the original article to the corresponding discussion or response to make access and citation easier.
All accepted contributions must comply with ThufuLA’s editorial requirements, publication ethics, and applicable peer-review procedures. Publication decisions remain the responsibility of the editor.
5. Errors and Publication Ethics Concerns
If a post-publication discussion identifies credible evidence of factual errors, unreliable findings, or possible violations of research and publication ethics, including issues involving the protection and privacy of child participants, the editor will assess the matter under the journal’s editorial and publication ethics policies.
Depending on the findings, the journal may issue a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction when warranted. The relevant authors may be contacted, and independent experts or institutions may be consulted when necessary.
Submitting or publishing a critical discussion does not automatically lead to a correction or retraction. Any action affecting the published scholarly record must be based on a proper assessment of the available evidence.
6. Ethical Principles
ThufuLA is committed to ensuring that post-publication discussions are conducted objectively, professionally, and respectfully. Contributors and responding authors must distinguish scientific criticism from personal disagreement, provide evidence for their claims, acknowledge relevant sources, and disclose any conflicts of interest.
The Editorial Team will handle submissions impartially and maintain appropriate confidentiality during the evaluation process. Anonymous allegations of possible misconduct may be assessed when credible supporting evidence is available; however, anonymous criticism will not automatically be accepted for publication.
Through this policy, ThufuLA seeks to promote an open and responsible scientific environment in which published research on early childhood education can be critically examined, discussed, and developed further, while preserving the integrity of the academic record.
